Fingal County Council has secured €100,000 in funding for sporting initiatives benefiting traditionally underserved communities.

Children from 3rd class in Balbriggan Educate Together National School and Bracken Educate Together National School took part in the annual Big Sports Quiz in Balbriggan Library on Wednesday 11th December.

Due to technical, safety and operational issues, the Casino Model Railway Museum in Malahide will not open in December.

Fingal County Council, in partnership with the Residential Tenancies Board (RTB), organised a successful “Betterlet: Accredited Landlord Training Scheme”, the first of its kind to be rolled out in the county.

The Balbriggan Community Liaison Committee hosted the Balbriggan Town Awards on Thursday 5th December 2019 in the Bracken Court Hotel.  The Town Awards which were traditionally hosted by Balbriggan Town Council have been a great success over the years and have had the support of the wider community.  

Fingal County Councillors met with representatives from Irish Water yesterday following the two recent Boiled Water Notices that affected water supply in the Greater Dublin region.
