Public invited to have their say on Ward River Regional Park
In order to inform the future development of the Ward River Regional Park in Swords, Fingal County Council is set to host a Community Consultation Session on the afternoon of Saturday October 8.
Transboundary Environmental Public Consultation –Awel y Mȏr Offshore Windfarm, approximately 10km off the coast of North Wales
On 24 September 2021, the Minister for Housing, Local Government & Heritage, received a transboundary EIA screening statement in relation to the proposed Awel y Mȏr Offshore Windfarm, which was conducted on behalf of the Secretary of State at the pre-application stage. The transboundary screening process identified potential transboundary issues for Ireland relating to impacts on fish, shellfish, marine mammals and sea birds and commercial shipping.

Fingal Festival of History 2022 Launched
Fingal Libraries sixth annual Festival of History was officially launched by the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr. Howard Mahony, at Swords Castle and will run from Monday 10th to Saturday 15th October 2022 across a number of Fingal Library branches and will culminate in the History at the Castle Day at Swords Castle on Saturday 15th October.
Council gets €150,000 grant for cross-border project
Fingal County Council has welcomed the announcement by Taoiseach Micheál Martin of a €150,000 grant under the Shared Island Local Authority Development Funding Scheme for the Corridor Enterprise Hubs project.
