Fingal councillors granted planning permission for 121 homes and a creche at Mayeston in Dublin 11 at the April monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Fingal Libraries will host three concerts from the renowned Mobile Music Machine to celebrate the Bealtaine Festival in Fingal. Each concert will feature some of Ireland's most acclaimed musicians, performing songs from the musicals, popular and classical eras. A popular hour of entertainment for all.

Fingal Libraries launches its programme for the Bealtaine Festival in Rush Library on Tuesday, 2nd May at 11:30am, with a performance from the Forget-Me-Nots choir, an inclusive community choir for older people. Everyone is welcome to what promises to be an enjoyable and uplifting musical experience.

Swords Castle was the home of swords and sorcery on Saturday, 1st April, as Dungeons & Dragons (DnD) players from all corners of Fingal assembled to launch Fingal County Council’s Community Gaming programme. 

The Fingal Development Plan 2023 – 2029 was made on 22nd February 2023 and came into effect on 5th April 2023.

The Fingal Heritage Forum, facilitated by the Heritage Office, Fingal County Council has begun the process of preparing a new Heritage Plan for Fingal and would like to hear your views on what priorities or actions should be included in the new plan.
