Water disruption Portmarnock and Malahide

Irish Water is working with Fingal County Council to restore water supply in parts of Malahide and Portmarnock as water levels in the Malahide reservoir are replenishing.

Properties in the following areas may be impacted by disruption to their supply while the reservoir levels replenish; areas extending from east of the railway line in Malahide to Portmarnock and to Drimnigh woods and to Carrickhill and surrounding areas.

It is expected that normal water supply will begin to be restored for impacted customers from 8pm this evening and it may take until 11pm for normal water pressure to be restored to all impacted customers.

Separately water supply is currently being restored to other areas impacted by earlier works at the Malahide Road / Mountgorry Way Roundabout that were being carried as part of the Malahide water supply scheme.
