Five projects in Fingal receive over €309k toward enhancing local community facilities
On the 5th of June, Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD announced over €17 million to deliver 212 community projects across the country as part of the Community Recognition Fund 2024. Fingal has welcomed €309,753 in funding as part of Call 3, set to support a series of initiatives including facility enhancements, equipment purchases, refurbishment works, laneway improvements, and the conversion of an all-weather astro pitch.

This latest allocation will provide great support to a wide range of community initiatives and is a tribute to all those involved in supporting their communities, whose work helps to make our towns and villages better places to live and more welcoming for everyone.”
