Fingal County Council Announce the Return of New Year’s Festival Dublin Fireworks Spectacular at Howth Harbour
Following a successful debut last year, the sky over Howth Harbour will once again come alive this New Year’s Eve with a spectacular fireworks display, offering a memorable, family- friendly evening to mark the end of the year.
New Year’s Festival Dublin, in partnership with Fingal County Council is delighted to announce the return of the NYF Dublin Fireworks Spectacular at Howth Harbour on Wednesday, 31 December 2025, at 7:00PM. NYF Dublin Fireworks Spectacular returns following its debut last year and promises to be more spectacular than ever, with dazzling fireworks lighting up the sky in two locations across Dublin (Howth Harbour and Dun Laoghaire Harbour) on New Year’s Eve. These free, family- friendly events will see the Dublin sky illuminated by synchronised fireworks displays set to music.
Families and friends are invited to gather as Dublin shines bright to welcome the New Year, with the main viewing area will be from Howth Pier Park and along Harbour Road.

“The return of the New Year’s Eve Fireworks to Howth Harbour is fantastic addition to Fingal’s winter calendar and a wonderful way to close out 2025. Following the success of last year’s debut, we are delighted to once again invite residents and visitors to enjoy this speculator free celebration. We encourage everyone to plan their journey in advance and to walk, cycle, or use public transport where possible. This event promises a truly magical evening as we come together to ring in the New Year, proudly supported by Fingal County Council"
