Please be advised that the Prohibition Do Not Swim Notices issued for Skerries South Beach and Burrow Beach Sutton on Wednesday July 21st have now been lifted.
Bathing Water quality results for resamples taken at Burrow Beach, Sutton and Skerries South on Wednesday 21st July, 2021 have been received and both results met the standard for “excellent” water quality. 

Burrow Beach, Sutton: e.coli 63 MPN/100ml and enterococci 79 CFU/100ml.

Skerries South : e.coli 97 MPN/100ml and enterococci 13 CFU/100ml.

The next scheduled seawater sampling date is Tuesday 3rd August.

Members of the public can check for water quality at any of the monitored bathing waters in Ireland in advance by accessing the EPA website at www.beaches.ie or by checking the notice board at the entrance to each beach.
