Fingal County Council, in partnership with Composting Ireland and the Eastern Midlands Regional Waste Management Office, is continuing the award-winning Composting & Recycling for Schools Programme free of charge for schools across Fingal.
Fingal County Council, in partnership with Composting Ireland and the Eastern Midlands Regional Waste Management Office, is continuing the award-winning Composting & Recycling for Schools Programme free of charge for schools across Fingal.
The programme is designed to support schools in tackling climate change, preventing waste, improving recycling, and developing effective composting systems. It also provides practical support for biodiversity projects, Green-Schools activities, and Sustainable Development Goals. The programme is tailored to each participating school and gives teachers access to a range of fun, practical and interactive activities that help students develop an understanding of ecology, biology, biodiversity, waste prevention and sustainable living. This programme is open to both primary and secondary schools.
