ANCA has published the 2025 aircraft noise contours for Dublin Airport. The contours present the annual average aircraft noise levels in a standardised European format for both the night-time and the full 24-hour periods of the year.

A planning application to expand Dublin Airport’s annual passenger capacity from 32 to 40 million is under review. ANCA has assessed the proposal, identifying measures to reduce aircraft noise impacts and updating noise objectives. A 14‑week public consultation is now open.

The 2025 Annual Report of the Aircraft Noise Competent Authority is now available. The annual report presents the work carried out by ANCA during 2025 and identifies the priorities for the year ahead.

The maps show the annual-averaged noise exposure in the communities around Dublin Airport for 2024, and these can be compared for each year since 2019.

A new public web portal to share information about flights to and from Dublin Airport ahas been launched.

At last night’s monthly meeting of Fingal County Council, councillors unanimously agreed to extend the Dublin Airport Local Area Plan to 2030.
