  The OEM Engineering Apprenticeship is a national Level 6 programme, delivered over three years that really appeals to those who enjoy the hands-on aspects of engineering, have a natural curiosity, and enjoy the challenge of problem solving, analysing and diagnosing.

• Digital Services Apprenticeships - Software Development and Data Analytics

Fingal County Council have recently introduced apprenticeship programmes in our Digital Services department. These apprenticeships provide an exciting opportunity to work in the IT sector while gaining a Level 6 qualification in IT.

The apprenticeships are two-year programmes designed for those who have recently completed second-level education or mature learners seeking to retrain. It is a dual-education programme involving both college-based and workplace learning. The college-based learning is run by FIT (https://fit.ie/tech-apprenticeships/ for more information) and apprentices receive a salary from their employer while on the programme.

The Software Development Associate Apprenticeship is an innovative apprenticeship that combines coding, cloud communications, and other customer service skills with awareness of quality assurance, security, AI tooling, project management and more.

The Data Analytics Associate Apprenticeship involves participants acquiring the knowledge, skills, and competencies to carry out the core tasks/responsibilities within the data analysis field to support business functions while in tandem developing skills to prepare for future career opportunities.

  This 6-day programme is one of the most beneficial stepping-stones to access the film & TV industry and forms the basis of the new entrant’s journey to working in the industry. • 3D Printing as a career

  We will be showcasing 3D printers and 3D printed items, while also highlighting real-world use cases and future career opportunities where 3D printing will play a role. Our goal is to educate both teachers and students on how 3D printing works and to share insights into the future of this industry in Ireland.
