Following results received today (29 July 2026) the bathing water quality at all 10 designated bathing waters and from Malahide Beach (non-designated bathing area) have been classified as excellent. 

The Land Development Agency (LDA), Fingal County Council (FCC) and Ballymore have today announced the details of the application process for the first 73 Starter Homes at Hampton Demesne, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.  The 73 homes are the first to be made available for purchase within Phase 1 of the development, which is under construction and will deliver 259 Starter and Social homes in total.
