Fingal County Council, in partnership with Dublin City Council, iBike Dublin and the Office of Public Works (OPW), is excited to announce the return of the Bike Disco which is an annual night-time cycling event that celebrates fun, freedom and sustainable mobility.

Fingal County Council in partnership with BirdWatch Ireland have been carrying out vital conservation work on Ireland’s Eye this Summer to protect and monitor its important seabird colonies, while also preserving the area for future generations to experience.

A collaboration between the four Dublin Local Authorities and funded by the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment, “Losing the Thread: The Cost of Fast Fashion”, premiered on Friday, October 3rd, at the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield. 

The aviation industry makes a significant contribution to the economic and social needs of Irish society, but the noise impact of this activity must be carefully managed and mitigated to ensure the protection of human health and the enjoyment of the environment. A report by ANCA on the effectiveness of the noise management measures in place at Dublin Airport for the 2024 operational year is now available.
