Fingal County Council has officially launched the Green-Schools Global Goals Book Club at the newly opened Donabate Library, marking a major step in promoting sustainability and global citizenship among young learners.

Fingal County Council has welcomed a record €435,563 investment in Fingal Sports Partnership for 2026, an increase of more than €60,000 on last year. The funding will support new programmes and boost participation in sport and physical activity across the county.

Fingal Libraries has opened the new Donabate Library in Ballisk House following a €2 million refurbishment that has created a modern, accessible community space. The library was officially opened by the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Tom O’Leary, with Fingal County Council representatives and pupils from Gaelscoil na Mara.
