As part of the ongoing consultation process, Fingal County Council will trial an alternative one-way layout on New Street, Malahide, from 10am on Thursday 3rd December 2020. 

Removal, remediation and replacement tree works are scheduled for Ardgillan Demesne, Balbriggan in the coming weeks after an arboricultural survey identified a number of trees that require urgent removal or remediation works.

Balbriggan has been chosen as Ireland’s first town to be named as a Smart District in a move that will put it at the cutting edge of smart projects to improve services, create jobs and build a better community.

Fingal County Council’s Our Balbriggan project has been short-listed for a top European award by The Innovation in Politics Institute, a Vienna-based organisation which works on a nonpartisan, pan-European level to enable politicians from different countries to share best practice, to network and to build bridges.
