A new publication showcasing the journey of the Seanchaí Microforest, a student-led, arts-in-education initiative developed by artist Gareth Kennedy in collaboration with Superprojects and Fingal County Council’s Youth and Education Programme, is set to be released to the public soon.

After a successful pilot season last year Fingal County Council have announced the return of the popular Fingal food markets.

Fingal County Council welcomed European Commission Executive Vice-President for Cohesion and Reforms, Mr Raffaele Fitto, to view the development of the Swords Cultural Quarter projects. Mr. Fitto was greeted on arrival by the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Tom O’Leary, and was given a guided tour of Swords Castle and the Carnegie Free Library, as well as the site of the €40m centre-piece of the Swords Cultural Quarter, Culture House.
