Fingal County council in partnership with the Land Development Agency (LDA) and Lydon have announced details of the application process for the first 50 Starter Homes at Golding Green, Kinsealy, Co. Dublin..

These 50 homes are the first to be made available for purchase in this new development, which is under construction, and will deliver 153 Starter homes when complete.

All homes, built by Lydon, will be A-rated and include gardens and parking.

The scheme includes a crèche, public open space, a football pitch, new pedestrian links, and a cycle greenway.

The site is located between Clarehall and Malahide, and benefits from strong transport links, including bus services along the Malahide Road and rail access from Portmarnock DART station. The area is also served by established retail and community amenities.

The sale of these homes will be managed by Fingal County Council through the Starter Homes Purchase Scheme, formerly the Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme.

The first application portal for the Golding Green Starter Homes Development will open at 12pm on Thursday 8th October 2026 and remain open until 5pm on Thursday 29th October 2026.

During this application period 50 Homes will be made available

· 2 Bedroom Homes

· 3 Bedroom Homes

How Applications Are Assessed

Applications will be assessed on a first come, first served basis, in order of the time and date they are submitted.

Assessment of applications will begin after the portal closes.

Successful applicants will be contacted following the assessment process in due course.
