Do you enjoy reading and writing stories? Author Conor Kostick has been teaching creative writing at the Irish Writers Centre for over twenty years and for Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, he will summarise the most important lessons he's learned in a workshop for young writers at Balbriggan Library. 

With fun exercises and plenty of opportunity to use your imagination and create your own stories, Conor will cover topics like creating engaging characters and wicked villains, setting scenes, writing dialogue, delivering a satisfying ending, and more. This event is part of Balbriggan Library's Carnival of Curiosity.
