To celebrate International Women’s Day 2024,  Fingal County Council will host their annual “Shine A Light” Event in Swords Castle and Park on Friday 8th March 2024. This is the third year of this initiative, which sees Fingal’s Sports Office joining together with the Community Department in delivering this important awareness event

The theme for the 2024 International Women's Day is #inspireinclusion.  When women are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.

There are many women in Fingal who through their inclusion have been inspired to achieve their goals in their work and communities. This event will be launched by the Mayor.

Come and join us as we raise awareness of inspiring inclusion in our own local communities as we light the way for women by ‘Shining a Light’ on  International Women’s Day #LeaveNoWomaBehind.
