The Soul of Samhain is a month-long Samhain programme at the Seamus Ennis Arts Centre inspired by their rich storytelling heritage, folklore and mythology. 

October begins with a Harvest Food Fair including Fingal Food Circle. Other events include Herbs, Hexes and Halloween plus Samhain themed singing sessions, focussing on the deep storytelling origins of the songs.

Choose from workshops connected to the archaeology and mythology of Fourknocks a megalithic monument and the folklore of Irish Whiskey. There’s an Irish language horror movie for adults, a horror movie for kids as Gaeilge, plus Samhain inspired film and craft workshops for children. Anyone want to make an owl mask?
