Reimagining Irish Folk Songs
Hear history and mythology come to life through interactive musical videos produced by the Irish Institute of Music & Song. Each video will connect children and young people to a selection of fascinating historical and mythological stories that make up Irish culture & heritage.
The reimagined folk songs are available to watch in popular contemporary styles and will be presented both in full-length format on YouTube and in shorter clips for Tik Tok, Instagram and Facebook.
Each interactive workshop video is approximately 12 minutes long and requires no prior musical experience to participate fully. While aimed at young people, the videos can be enjoyed at any age, either as a group or solo.
