Join our Heritage Officer Christine Baker on Tuesday March 24th in County Hall Swords at 7pm for the launch of what is an interesting and poignant book. Over 400 Fingal men and women died in the tragic circumstances of WW1 and this book demonstrates the scale and scope of the impact of the war on ordinary people and the damage that the war did to families across the north county Dublin area.
Free copies will be distributed via Fingal Libraries; be available for collection on the night or for greater numbers by arrangement with the Heritage Officer.
The author Dr Bernard Kelly will speak, along with local historian Peter Rooney.
