Explore Fingal Market 2026

Food is serious business in Fingal, where a vibrant culinary scene is shaped by its rolling countryside, stunning coastline, and passionate local producers. Rooted in a deep and enduring food heritage, Fingal’s offerings are defined by seasonal harvests, artisan craftsmanship, and the freshest seafood. The result is a food culture that is both distinctly local and refreshingly cosmopolitan—full of flavour, creativity, and surprise.

For visitors, the Explore Fingal Food Markets provide one of the most accessible and enjoyable ways to experience the region’s culinary delights. Running throughout the summer, these lively markets spotlight local growers and producers, offering not only the freshest ingredients but also the chance to meet the people behind them. Each Saturday, at least one market pops up across Fingal, bringing together community, conversation, and exceptional food—see dates and locations below.

At the heart of Fingal’s thriving food scene is the Fingal Food Circle, a dynamic network of local food and drink producers. Many of its members are regular market stallholders, welcoming the opportunity to connect directly with fellow food lovers. The Food Circle champions sustainability, celebrates Fingal’s rich culinary heritage, and tells the story of food from land and sea. Its members proudly showcase the very best of the county’s produce and innovation.

Another key presence at the markets is the Fingal Farmers, whose stall overflows with beautifully fresh, locally grown produce. From creamy bottled milk to seasonal fruits and vegetables, their offerings reflect both quality and tradition. Visitors can meet the farmers themselves—custodians of a centuries-old agricultural legacy. With its fertile, dark soil and strategic location, Fingal has long been recognised as the true market garden of Ireland.
