The Portmarnock Links opened to great acclaim in June 1995 and has been receiving accolades from visiting golf writers and top professionals ever since. Designer Bernhard Langer has produced a classic links masterpiece to rival any of the great Irish and Scottish courses. Inspirational use of natural dunesland features the creative use of elevated tees and greens, acutely angled dog- legs and ninety - eight strategically placed bunkers, test the most accomplished players. Each individual hole presents its own unique and exacting challenge.
