Clonee Women’s Shed Painting Party

Clonee Women's Shed brought 30 of their members together to paint and create in Castaheany Community Centre on August 4 2023. This fun and interactive painting workshop gave participants the opportunity of expressing their creative side. The friendly, collaborative atmosphere and shared activity helped to enhance social wellbeing. The participants absolutely loved the event, not only did they have fun, but the painting really helped to destress and had a positive impact on mental health. Clonee Women’s Shed is transforming the lives of women in the community by creating a network for socialising and friendship amongst women ranging in ages from their 20s into their 80s. This initiative combats loneliness and isolation, bridges generations and encourages diversity and integration amongst their membership all the while providing varied activities so there’s something for all women in the community to enjoy.
