Fingal County Council is encouraging submissions and observations on the draft Forest of Fingal Tree Strategy as part of the public consultation process which is closing shortly.

We hope you’re ready for a spooktacular Halloween and will join us here at Newbridge House and Farm in Donabate for The NeWitch Project happening from October 25th -31st.

There are four walks marked out along Howth head for the intrepid walker to enjoy. As you go, you can enjoy the lovely views of Lambay Island and Ireland’s Eye as well as Dublin Bay. The cliffs are hotspots for birdlife and grey seals can also be seen.

Start your journey at South Shore Esplanade, tracing the outline of the coast as you ring around the Martello Tower and past the Harbour along the North Strand.

Three equal routes of 3.5 kilometres each are on offer in this charming village.

From the shoreline of the railway causeway at Donabate, walk eastwards along the Broadmeadow estuary.

Starting at the Marina in Malahide, make your way to the strand passing by the Malahide Yacht Club.

Set off along the Portmarnock coast road.

Beginning at the seafront at Howth, take a ramble along the picturesque coast.
