Fingal Road Safety Action Plan

The Fingal Road Safety Action Plan 2025 / 2027 examines works of the previous Road Safety Plan 2017-2020 and sets out a plan for Fingal to achieve Ireland’s long term goal of achieving Vision Zero (i.e. zero road deaths or serious injuries) by 2050. This plan closely aligns with “Ireland’s Government Road Safety Strategy 2021 to 2030” and will be delivered with a heightened focus on the provision of improved infrastructure, road user behaviour, and enforcement. Fingal County Council aims to be a County where it is safe for all road users (pedestrians, cyclists, private and commercial vehicles) to travel to their destination safely.
