Bike Parking

Significant investment has been made in cycling infrastructure across the County between 2022 and 2026, improving access, convenience and security for cyclists.

  • Over 380 public bike racks have been installed since 2022, providing widespread on-street and public parking.
  • Private bike parking has also been expanded, with over 40 racks delivered.
  • Bike repair stations have been introduced annually, supporting maintenance and encouraging everyday cycling.
  • 5 bike bunkers installed to provide secure residential storage
  • 8 virtual parking bays, each capable of accommodating up to three bicycles

The installation of bike parking has continued each year throughout Fingal, encouraging cycling uptake and supporting more sustainable travel choices.
