A cloud-based platform for paperless operations from Blanchardstown is this year’s winner of the Fingal Enterprise Award (FEA) for 2020, Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Fingal has announced.

Businesses from Fingal had the opportunity to meet buyers from all over the world as part of the Local Enterprise Showcase at Showcase 2020 in the RDS in Dublin. 

Irish Water and Fingal County Council wish to advise customers in Balbriggan and surrounding areas that they may experience disruption to their supply as works are carried out to safeguard the water supply in the area. Works are required to allow water storage reservoirs in the area to refill and to improve water pressure issues being experienced at some locations.

In line with Government guidelines in relation to Coronavirus COVID-19, all GAA and Soccer fixtures have been cancelled, and all team training has been prohibited, until April 19th at the earliest. All Fingal County Council Pitches are therefore deemed unplayable until then. 

The Donabate Distributor Road officially opened on Friday 6th March 2020. It is Fingal County Council’s first project constructed under the Rebuilding Ireland’s Local Infrastructure Housing Activation Fund (LIHAF) to be completed.

Fingal County Council is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of turnkey housing developments and/or long-term leasing of developments for social housing purposes across the Fingal area.

Following a detailed risk assessment of the threat posed by Coronvirus (COVID-19), the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Eoghan O’Brien, and the Chief Executive of Fingal County Council, AnnMarie Farrelly, have agreed that the seven St Patrick’s Day Parades which were to have taken place across the county will be cancelled.
