Fingal County Council has opened a number of new Connected Hubs across the county to help the community access facilities to remote work, study or undertake digital skills trainings.

December 6th see’s Blanchardstown School of Music return to Draíocht for their Christmas Concert. The concert will showcase the talent of the students ranging from Singing, Piano, Drums, Violin and Guitar. With some festive inspired pieces along with some of the students exam preparation work, it will be an evening of fantastic music and upbeat performances!

Fingal County Council welcomes the award of €48,600 in new funding for the Cultural Centre project in Lusk.

This season Draíocht will collaborate once again with the Irish Film Institutes Education Programme by screening the film 'A Jar Full of Life / Vielmachglas' for Senior Cycle Secondary School Students, in German (with English subtitles). Recommended age: 15+

Fingal County Council is delighted to announce news  of a new public artwork for Balbriggan. The work titled “Wish you Were Here” is by local artist Dave West and will be located at the prominent Banks site at Balbriggan Harbour.This work has been made possible through our ongoing partnership with Iarnród Éireann, Balbriggan and the Our Balbriggan Regeneration Programme

Christmas lights will be switched on by the competition winner with Deputy Mayor Cllr Tom Kitt assisted by Santa at 7pm on December 6th.

We are delighted to announce that the annual Christmas Lunch for the Fingal Enterprising Women Network will take place on Thursday 5th December at the Roganstown Hotel and Country Club from 11am to 2pm.

The Christmas lights will be switched on by Santa and Mayor of Fingal Cllr Eoghan O'Brien at 6pm on November 29th.
