The best-quality beaches along the Fingal coastline have been announced today by An Taisce at this year’s National Blue Flag and Green Coast Awards event held at Donabate.

Fingal County Council has launched an innovative new strategy for housing that aims to provide people with disabilities better opportunities and foster a more inclusive community. The approach not only prioritises accessibility but also recognises the importance of creating environments that promote independence, equality, and integration for all residents.

The meeting took place following the recent Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announcement of an all-season bathing advisory for Front Strand Beach in Balbriggan and the poor-quality bathing water experienced at times last year.

Mayor of Fingal Howard Mahony  opened a new community garden in Blanchardstown, on Wednesday May 17, 2023. The ‘GLAS @ TU Dublin’ garden will provide a space for local community groups and schools to grow fresh produce, reconnect with nature, and foster a stronger sense of community.
