Fingal County Council has launched its new Future Fingal: Fingal Skills Strategy, which looks to directly address workforce needs, enhance business opportunities, and strengthen Fingal’s position as a leading economic hub.

On Monday 24th of February, Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD announced over €14 million in funding to deliver 185 community projects across the country as part of the Community Recognition Fund 2024. Fingal has welcomed €596,802 in funding as part of Call 2, set to support a series of initiatives surrounding retrofitting, renovation, development, transport and more.

Fingal County Council’s Events Unit has announced the allocation of €525,000 in funding to 101 groups and organisations across the county as part of its Festival and Events Funding Programme for 2025.
