Halloween Amnesty: Dispose of Combustible Waste for Free

Estuary Recycling centre

Fingal County Council’s Recycling Centres, in Estuary Swords and Coolmine, will be accepting combustible materials ONLY free of charge from Wednesday 20th to Saturday 30th October.

Combustible materials such as beds, sofas, wooden doors etc. will be accepted over this 9 day period to reduce the amount of material which may otherwise be disposed of on Halloween bonfires with consequent health and safety risks to members of the public and damage to public open spaces.

Residents wishing to avail of this service will be required to produce proof of address in the Fingal area. Only one visit per vehicle will be allowed each day.

Charges will still apply to non-combustible items, e.g. green waste, C&D waste, metals and hazardous materials.

It should be NOTED the last entry to the Recycling Centres between these dates will be no later than one hour before closing time due to the large volume of vehicles anticipated:

3pm in Coolmine                           7pm in Estuary Recycling Centre.

The last entry to Estuary on Saturday 23rd and  30th will be at 5pm.
