Residents across Fingal are being encouraged to take simple, positive climate actions through a new animated video series launched by Fingal County Council. 

Fingal County Council has reached a landmark sustainability milestone, becoming the first local authority in Ireland to save one million plastic bottles through the use of its public water refill stations across the county.

Fingal County Council Arts Department is offering four separate residencies and studio opportunities in the month of May. This year also marks the first year Fingal Arts Office is offering a two year long studio residency in partnership with the RHA and Ardgillan Castle. 

This event, which will take place on Wednesday 13 May from 7pm, will feature talented Dublin writer Catriona Lally in conversation about her fiction writing and most recent novel Wunderland as well as her newly published memoir Home Economics.

Fingal Arts Office has officially launched the Creative Places Balbriggan Strategy 2026-2027, together with a brand new funding scheme for Balbriggan called “Making Waves”.

A new publication showcasing the journey of the Seanchaí Microforest, a student-led, arts-in-education initiative developed by artist Gareth Kennedy in collaboration with Superprojects and Fingal County Council’s Youth and Education Programme, is set to be released to the public soon.
