Fingal International Women’s Day 2026

Fingal International Women's Day 2026 is a significant initiative led by Fingal County Council’s Community Development Department, designed to celebrate and raise awareness of this important global occasion.

In 2026 the theme for International Women's Day 2026 is 'Give to Gain: When we give, we gain. 

Give To Gain Emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organizations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. Dedicated to the advancement of women worldwide, the 8th of March is a great opportunity for community groups and voluntary organisations to celebrate International Women's Day (IWD) and provides an important platform to engage with communities.  Acknowledging the theme , Fingal County Council are providing a bursary of €18,000, up to €300 per group to 65 community groups and voluntary organisations to celebrate this important day .
