As part of the Bastille Day celebrations in Ireland, the French Embassy in association with Irish cultural partners, presents a special French Film Programme from 1st to 14th July 2025 in Dublin, Cork, Galway, and online.
All screenings are free!
The Carnegie in Swords is delighted to participate in this initiative by the French Embassy, celebrating French culture and marking the close friendship between Ireland and France where we will screen 2 films;

Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds (Sirocco et le royaume des courants d’air)

Juliette (4) and Carmen (8)’s neighbor, Agnes, write children’s books that take place in a fantastic world, the Kingdom of the Air Currents. The two sisters discover a passage between their world and this extraordinary universe. Once there, the two girls take on the appearance of cats, and discover the existence of Sirocco, this terrifying character capable of controlling the wind.
