Do not swim notice removed from Velvet Strand Portmarnock

Following a resample at Velvet Strand, Portmarnock, the water quality has been classified as "Excellent".

As a result, the Do Not Swim Notice has been removed with immediate effect. The next scheduled full bathing water sampling round will take place tomorrow, Monday, 24 August 2026, across all 10 designated bathing waters in Fingal, including Malahide Beach (non-designated bathing water)
