The Award will assist its recipients - Clare Breen, David Beattie, Mark Joyce, Cliodhna Noonan, Diane Crotty, Helen Barry, Helen Keenan, Angelica Santander, Mary O'Donnell, Liam McCarthy and Mark Ball – to develop their practice in a wide range of different arts practices and creative experiences with or for children aged 0–5 years in different contexts.

Tyrrelstown has many children, youth and adults that have a huge interest in football and there is a clear need for a football club in the area. It is hoped to start operations in the summer with the vision of reforming the former football club (depending on government restrictions) as soon as possible.

The appointment demonstrates the Council’s commitment to supporting the growth of cricket in Tyrrelstown through the Cricket Development Team. The Team has fostered the growth of cricket in Fingal through their work with schools and clubs, and they have worked with clubs during the Covid-19 pandemic to create safe and community-friendly sporting environments.

It’s an exciting time to be young in Fingal! The Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board has partnered with Fingal County Council and Music Generation to improve music education opportunities available to children and young people in the county.  

Robswall playground refurbishment/upgrade works will be carried out from the 26th April until the 30th April inclusive and the playground will be shut to the general public to facilitate this upgrading of the equipment.
