The Dove - The Story of Colmcille In Dublin, Documentary Series launched

To celebrate the 1500 year anniversary of the birth of one of Ireland’s most prolific saints - St Colmcille, Fingal County Council in association with Creative Ireland have launched a documentary series about the life of the saint and his connection with the Swords area.

Irish Water advises of essential works to safeguard the water supply to homes and businesses in Howth

 Irish Water, working in partnership with Fingal County Council, is commissioning the new water supply infrastructure in Howth to safeguard the drinking water supply for homes and businesses. Six kilometres of watermain have been constructed including three railway crossings. In addition a new pumping station and chlorination building has been constructed at Dungriffen Reservoir.

Rush producer wins inaugural Sustainable Business Competition

A local producer of Irish cucumbers has been named by Fingal County Council as the winner of its first-ever Sustainable Business Competition. Welgro Produce, based in Rush, won the accolade as part of an initiative aimed at encouraging businesses across Fingal to implement more sustainable approaches into their day-today operations.
