Annual Budget
The revenue budget deals with the day to day expenditure of maintaining and providing services throughout the county.
Annual Financial Statement
The Annual Financial Statement sets out the financial position of the Council as at the 31st December of any given year. The accounts are audited by the Local Government Auditor. Following consideration by the Audit Committee, the audited accounts are presented to the local Councillors at the next practicable meeting .

Conservation areas
Architectural Conservation Areas (ACAs) are areas of special architectural, historical, archaeological, artistic, cultural, scientific, social, technical value, or areas that are important to the environment of a protected structure. They can be anything from a town centre or terrace of houses to structures associated with a specific building such as a country house or mill. ACAs are designated under the Fingal Development Plan.

Fingal 1916 Story
The part that Fingal played in the fight for Irish freedom is a unique story that needs to be told. In order to honour the role of the men and women of Fingal in the events of 1916, and share this story, the Council has compiled a broad programme for the Fingal 1916 Centenary Commemoration based on this story.
Fingal 2016 Centenary Projects
The Fingal 2016 Centenary Programme has been devised in response to ideas and suggestions arising from public consultation meetings in 2015 that were attended by relatives of those involved from Fingal in the 1916 Rising, members of the Fingal Old IRA Commemorative Society, historical societies, community groups, artists and the wider public.

Fingal heritage plan

Local Property Tax
Local Property Tax (LPT) is a tax payable on the market value of residential property. The charge which is administered and collected by the Revenue Commissioners, came into effect on the 1 July 2013. A half-year payment was due in 2013, with a full-year payment due from 2014 onwards.

The Council runs induction courses for new tenants. This course informs you of your responsibilities as a tenant and gives you important information on your new home and your community.
Courses are run in Blanchardstown Library or in County Hall in Swords. It’s very important that you come to the course so you get all the information you need to make your tenancy a success and make your house a home.
