Healthy Ireland at your Library is an exciting new service which has developed from the Healthy Ireland initiative and is available free of charge in Fingal County Libraries. As part of this exciting new service, we have a range of FREE talks and workshops relating to various Health and Wellbeing topics. Everyone is welcome to attend however booking is essential as places are limited. Please contact the relevant Library directly to book your place.

- Dementia Help & Support from The Alzheimer Society of Ireland
Over the last few months, Fingal Libraries have organised the mobile information bus to travel around our libraries in Fingal. The service provides information and support to people with dementia, and their families. There is room available on the bus for one to one consultations with a dementia adviser, who will help people connect with the relevant supports and services. Why not drop by Skerries Library on Monday, March 11th – no booking is required.

- FREE CPR Training from the Irish Heart Foundation
The Irish Heart Foundation is launching an exciting, free community CPR training programme called ‘Hands for Life’, thanks to sponsorship from Abbott and ESB Networks. The training is a 40-minute awareness course delivered by an experienced Irish Heart Foundation instructor. Each attendee will get the opportunity to practice on a manikin. CPR is an easy skill to learn and once you know how to do it, you could save someone’s life.
Blanchardstown Library are running a number of 40 minute training sessions on Saturday 6th April. Don't be disappointed, book your place at a time that suits you, by contacting 01-8905563/65.
