Healthy Ireland at your Library is an exciting new service which has developed from the Healthy Ireland initiative and is available free of charge in Fingal County Libraries. As part of this exciting new service, we have a range of FREE talks and workshops relating to various Health and Wellbeing topics. Everyone is welcome to attend however booking is essential as places are limited. Please contact the relevant Library directly to book your place.

- Gut Feeling: the role of diet for overall health with Consultant Dietitian & Nutritionist Dr Kevina Cardiff
Learn how a healthy gut plays a role in optimising all aspects of your health and how to balance your diet to maintain a healthy gut, allowing you to enjoy all the improved health related benefits. Get to grips with fibre and learn to enjoy all types of fibre in your diet.
This talk will be given by Dr. Kevina Cardiff who was awarded her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Imperial College London in 1998. Dr. Cardiff later qualified as a Dietitian at The University of Ulster. Her approach to all dietary intervention focuses on empowering the patient.

Stella O’Malley is a mental health professional, writer, best-selling author, public speaker and a parent with many years’ experience working in counselling and psychotherapy.
