Rush is situated north of the Rogerstown Estuary in North County Dublin.

How to get there 

By bus

Rush is serviced by 33 Dublin Bus routes. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the bus stop. Check Dublin Bus for timetables and service updates.

By Train

Rush has a train station and is serviced by Irish Rail. The station is 45 minute walk to the beach. Check Irish Rail for timetables and service updates.

Lifeguard station (summer months only)

Lifeguard information

There’s a red or yellow flag flying from the lifeguard station when a lifeguard is on duty. A lifeguard is only on duty in the summer months from 11am to 7pm as follows;

  • Saturday and Sunday during June
  • everyday during July and August
