Community Enhancement Programme 2018 and Men's Shed Fund

Minister Ring launched the new €4.5m Community Enhancement Programme (CEP) on 31st May 2018 additional funding has been allocated nationally and ring-fenced for small capital grants for Men's Sheds affiliated to the Irish Men's Sheds Association.

The Community Enhancement Programme is the result of the first significant exercise in the streamlining of schemes and programmes carried out by the Department of Rural and Community Development. The new Programme builds on and replaces the RAPID and Communities Facilities Schemes.  The CEP provides funding to communities to enhance facilities in disadvantaged areas.  Funding under this Programme will be aimed at addressing disadvantage as identified in the Local Economic and Community Plan. Fingal County Council will receive €150,521.00.

LCDCs are responsible for allocating funding to projects in their area as they are ideally placed to identify suitable local projects.

Applications for funding can now be made under this Programme to Fingal LCDC by 5pm on Monday, 30th July 2018.

Men's Shed Funding announced on 27th July  by the Department of Rural & Community Development is now available. Applications for funding can now be made under this programme to Fingal LCDC by 31st August 2018. To request an application form call 01-8905166 or download the application form below.
