That Was a Busy Easter!

Kids off school, 2 weeks of rest over the Easter Holidays….NO Chance! Like me you were probably thinking what can I do to keep the kids active and occupied over the holidays!

Kids off school, 2 weeks of rest over the Easter Holidays….NO Chance! Like me you were probably thinking what can I do to keep the kids active and occupied over the holidays? My son is sport mad, he particularly loves the football, so I brought him along to Mick Pender’s (FAI/Fingal Development Officer) Easter Camp in Applewood Community Centre, Swords. He had a fantastic time as the focus was on FUN and GAMES (No parking the bus there!!) and another great thing was that it didn’t break the bank!

€20 for 4 days of footballing fun from 11-1pm and if you signed up to the FAI Summer Camp in Swords in July you got the 2nd week of the Easter Camp for FREE! There were activities (and great value to be had) all over the county run by Fingal’s Co-Funded Development Officers during the Easter Break: Cricket, Football, Rugby and Tennis not to mention the various clubs and community groups that had sports activities taking place. Keep an eye on Fingal County Council’s Sports Office Facebook & Twitter for all your community sports information as I’ve a feeling there’s a VERY BUSY summer on the way!
