Today is an important day in the life of Fingal County Council, as we open the doors of Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Fingal for the first time.

Today is an important day in the life of Fingal County Council, as we open the doors of Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Fingal for the first time.   LEO Fingal is part of a national network that will be the front line in delivering business growth and jobs, providing direct support and pulling together all the players – agencies, local authorities and the private sector – to support everyone with a good business idea and strengthen the enterprise sector in Fingal

2014 has been designated the Year of Jobs with over 61,000 jobs created in the past 12 months. To further accelerate this, LEO Fingal will be the ‘first stop shop’ for all Government supports for those in Fingal who want to start or expand their business and create jobs in the County.  We will develop local enterprise plans putting micro and small business at the heart of job creation locally and bring the functions of the former Fingal County Enterprise Board into Fingal County Council structures to offer a more streamlined service for clients.  LEO Fingal also has the full support of Enterprise Ireland and other agencies that support business and their expertise in supporting entrepreneurs, innovation and exports which together grow small local businesses into outward international companies, will be available through Fingal LEO

The Team at LEO Fingal want to get to know their colleagues throughout Fingal County Council and to learn more about how we can work together to support job creation.   Come visit the new office on the 1st floor, County Hall, Swords (beside the Council chamber public gallery) or find our more on https://www.localenterprise.ie/Fingal/  Follow LEO Fingal on Twitter @leofingal or find them on Facebook.com/leofingal

We are planning an official opening of LEO Fingal in the coming weeks where Minister for Jobs Enterprise & Innovation Richard Bruton TD will join Mayor of Fingal Cllr. Kieran Dennison, myself and Oisin Geoghan Head of Local Enterprise Fingal to formally open our doors and we’ll let you know more about that closer to the launch event.
